Senior Sales Associate - Contemporary Home Furnishings

The successful candidate will be integral in the future growth and success of this company. We will provide with hands-on showroom training to sell a complete line of upholstery, as well as dining room, bedroom, art, rugs and accessories.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the co-owner/manager your responsibilities will include:

1. Greeting, qualifying, assisting clients, closing sales.
2. Demonstrate and highlight a product's features and benefits.
3. Merchandise showroom, displays, signage.
4. Complete various types of paperwork with accuracy .
5. Assist in inventory product selection.
6. Plan and implement various detailed tasks.
   

Qualifications

1. Proven sales success with 7 years (minimum) experience.
2. Furniture retail & design experience a plus.
3. College Diploma or University Degree preferred.Valid BC Drivers License and access to a car.
4. Working knowledge of MS office.

7. Prompt and reliable.
8. Self confident and can handle "rejection" without getting discouraged.
9. Self starter who enjoys minimal or at times, no supervision.
10. Mature professional, demeanor.
11. Ability to independently make decisions and problem solve.
12. Organized, with a capacity to handle numerous details.

Availability

Must be available to work 5 consecutive days: Wednesday through to Sunday.

Compensation

Competitive base salary, with generous commission.
